Marx generator 800 kV (Marx generator)
Marx's generator is an electrical circuit including a DC power supply, a number of capacitors, and several spark switches (Spark Chat) that are in parallel. This generator is used to generate high voltage from low voltage DC.
The basis of this type of generator is to recharge capacitors in parallel and discharge in series. These capacitors run parallel to the function of a number of spark switches from parallel to serial mode and discharge energy stored in capacitors at high potential.
The original design of the circuit was presented by Ervin Otto Marx in 1924 and renowned for his work as Marx. Use this device to generate high voltages. The energy generated by this device depends on the capacity and number of capacitors used.
